Tips for effectively working remotely

Just a few random tips:

• Get out of the house every day
• Always get dressed & ready and “go to work” even if that’s just the other room
• If you work from home, have a dedicated workspace at home with a proper desk, monitor, keyboard, etc. setup. This also makes it easier to walk away from work at the end of the day.
• But working from other locations (coffee shop, etc.) can be helpful to keep things varied.
• Keep a backpack or laptop bag packed with an extra laptop charger, Roost stand, headphones, travel keyboard/mouse, outlet splitter, etc. This way, the only action required for changing locations is grabbing your laptop and putting it in your bag. Easier to work from different places if you’re not always having to pack your charger, etc.
